The next generation of earth stewards.
Roots Down is proud to partner with GreenHive, our 501(c)(3) counterpart and youth-powered leadership program rooted in climate justice, equity, and access. Together, we’re building an ecosystem of students, young leaders, and community members working to reimagine public spaces as regenerative, sustainable community assets.

Through the GreenHive Leadership Program, we develop and pay emerging climate leaders, embed DEI into land care and engagement strategies, and amplify underrepresented voices through storytelling and public art.

Our main collaboration regards the Library Transition Plan. A bold initative to transform all 23 DeKalb County libraries into vibrant Earth Hubs—spaces that support food security, build climate resilience, and reconnect people with nature. This collaboration models a new, community-driven approach to stewardship and powers the next generation of bold, local environmental leadership in Metro Atlanta.
