So glad to celebrate this year and all the progress towards Fruitful Communities in DeKalb alongside GreenHive members from both cohorts! This year wouldn't have been the success it was without their advocacy !!! We couldn't get all GreenHivers in attendance in the picture- if you attended drop your pics !

The buzz is real for the GreenHive after Week 2 and 3!! Week 2 was all about Community Organizing and Engaging Community. Thank you to Teresa Totten, Programming and Services Coordinator at DeKalb County Public Libraries, for joining us and giving us valuable tools and information on how to engage our local community. This week, Week 3, we learned all about growing into leadership and becoming effective leaders! Thank you to Keith Sagers, President of R.S. Empowerment Group, for joining us! Some key take aways the GreenHive is leaving with that we ask others to join us in: How can we build Fruitful Communities together? Who can join us in this mission? What is our "why"? Why do we show up to do this work?

We had a great first GreenHive Class at the Clarkston Library talking about growing Fruitful Communities and all of the awesome things these next 10 weeks will hold! Thank you to Commissioner Terry for joining us and inspiring us. We can make change, lead the future, and fight climate change locally!
