Azhar and I run Atplanta, a sliding scale vegetable garden service (raised beds, in-ground gardens, and container gardens). We mostly work with folks who are new to gardening, or have tried it in the past but become discouraged. Through careful planning, installation, maintenance, and consistent availability to answer questions, we work to ensure our partners have successful gardens and take on the skills and knowledge to continue without us.

As a sliding scale business, we seek to make our services available to everyone, regardless of income. If you have more financial resources, we ask you contribute more to make our services available to those with less. And if money is a barrier to gardening for you, we encourage you to take advantage of the solidarity built into our model. See our "pea pod guidelines" below.

We find the best time to install spring gardens in Atlanta is between March 1 and April 15. This is the best window to plant the cool weather crops we all love (Arugula, Broccoli, Broccolini, Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Chard, Cilantro, Collards, Kale, Peas, Pak Choi, Parsley, Lettuce, Mustards, Radish, Spinach, Turnips, and more). So now is the time to start planning with us! Check us out at atplanta.com.
