Community Organizing is perfect for those who want a flexible way to make a big local impact (and some money!) without committing a ton of hours.
Flexible
Community Organizers have no set hours, and get to choose their weekly activities. Day, night, and weekend activities available.
Good pay
Community Organizers start at $20/hour.
Skill building
Build your resume by choosing from a range of activities from blog writing, social media posting, canvassing, and more!
Change the world
Be a part of a local climate and food justice solution. Earn money and make the world a better place!
WELCOME WAGON
Art will change the world.
Our Welcome Wagon is a crack unit of creative people using their talents for good! Every month, we'll release a Call for Proposals that will outline new ways for creative people to get paid for their work, find new audiences, and welcome new Roots Down Members with a bang!

On the first of every month, we'll release our Call for Proposals.

You apply for up to $750 in funding to complete a creative project that will bring joy to our Members and Partners, and calls attention to our mission.

Once picked, we'll meet with you weekly to offer any assistance you need to complete your project.

You get a personalized store and a local promotional initiative to bring your project to our Roots Down audience.
