GROW THE MOVEMENT
Grow Fruitful Communities, feed people, get paid!
We're building a movement of Growers and community partners like you, all working together to grow a more abundant, equitable, and fruitful future. Roots Down Community Organizers use their unique talents to spread the word about Fruitful Communities and advocate for better public spaces. All are welcome.
Two ways to make a difference!
Community Organizing is a flexible part-time contractor position that helps with a host of important tasks.
Use your artistic talents to help us create amazing welcome experiences for new members.
Flexible, fun local impact.
Community Organizing is perfect for those who want a flexible way to make a big local impact (and some money!) without committing a ton of hours.
Community Organizers have no set hours, and get to choose their weekly activities. Day, night, and weekend activities available.
Community Organizers start at $20/hour.
Build your resume by choosing from a range of activities from blog writing, social media posting, canvassing, and more!
Change the world
Be a part of a local climate and food justice solution. Earn money and make the world a better place!
Art will change the world.
Our Welcome Wagon is a crack unit of creative people using their talents for good! Every month, we'll release a Call for Proposals that will outline new ways for creative people to get paid for their work, find new audiences, and welcome new Roots Down Members with a bang!
On the first of every month, we'll release our Call for Proposals.
You apply for up to $750 in funding to complete a creative project that will bring joy to our Members and Partners, and calls attention to our mission.
Once picked, we'll meet with you weekly to offer any assistance you need to complete your project.
You get a personalized store and a local promotional initiative to bring your project to our Roots Down audience.
Other ways to get involved.
No matter your background, resources, age, or interests, there's somewhere for everyone in the Fruitful Communities Initiative. Here are some ways you can get more involved in the movement.
