We collaborate with your existing landscape architects, installers, and maintenance crews to asses and identify the most impactful locations for Productive Urban Landscapes, and how to maintain them.

LANDSCAPERS

21st century landscaper training.

A collaboration between Roots Down, community colleges and local workforce development organizations, the Grower Program is a 2 hour online course that helps landscapers join the Green Jobs Revolution.
ONLINE COURSE

The Grower Program is entirely online, so you can complete your certification on your own time. It's perfect for existing landscapers looking to level up, or those interested in kickstarting your ecological landscaping career.

AFFORDABLE

The Grower Program is just $400, and up to 90% of the cost is reimbursable to DeKalb County residents through WorkSource DeKalb.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

When you take the Grower Program, you also get plugged into the wider Roots Down community. Through our free mobile app, you can take continuing education courses, chat with other eco-landscapers, and even find new clients!

PROMOTION

Landscapers that complete the Grower Program are listed on our website as officially certified landscapers. Show your clients and community you're doing your part to change the industry.

GET CONNECTED

You can take the Grower Advocate course right on your phone through the Roots Down app. Connect with other eco-conscious residents, share your progress, and keep up-to-date with projects happening throughout your community.

When you complete the Grower Advocate certificate, you receive one of our exclusive Welcome Kits. With a t-shirt, sticker, and a copy of our book, the Welcome Kit is everything you need to show off your new status as a Grower Advocate.

We're more than a company, we're a movement. We donate 10% of our proceeds to the Roots Down Foundation, and 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to supporting the youth leaders and landscapers that make Fruitful Communities possible with stipends and scholarships so they can participate in the following programs.
